Transfer Station User Info
Please note the following procedures and regulations:
Covered Loads: All loads coming into the Transfer Station must be covered and secured. A surcharge will be assessed on all loads not properly secured.
Unacceptable Items: No free-flowing liquids, hazardous waste or asbestos can be accepted.
Area Served: Waste can only be accepted from Agency counties- Lucas, Marion, Monroe and Poweshiek.
Inclement Weather Closing: If weather conditions are dangerous to staff or customers or unacceptable according to the Agency's permits ( for example, high winds or flooding), the landfill or Transfer Station may temporarily close. Call 641-528-2801 or listen to your local radio station for announcements.
