Satellite Drop off Location
Household Hazardous Waste may be dropped off at the satellite location at the SCISWA landfill the first Saturday of every month (weather permitting) by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Call 641-828-8545 to set up appointment and for more information.

Accepted materials:
- oil and oil filters
- antifreeze
- auto batteries
- needles and medical waste
- oil based paint or paint with lead
- paint removers and thiners
- stains and varnishes
- contact cement/glue
- wood preservatives
- epoxy
- fertilizers and pesticides
- rat poison
- rechargeable batteries
- gasoline and kerosene
- drain cleaners
- metal polishes
- oven cleaners
- pool chemicals
- lighter fluid
- roofing tar
- floor care products, etc.
Materials NOT accepted:
- latex paint
- farm chemicals
- asbestos
- ammunition
- radioactive materials
- fire extinguishers and gas cyclinders and any UNKNOWN materials.
- chemicals from businesses

The Satellite Site at the Landfill, 1736 Hwy T-17, Tracy is open the first Saturday morning of each month (March - November) by appointment.
