SCISWA's Household Hazardous Waste Program
In 1998 SCISWA entered into an agreement with the Metro Waste Authority's Regional Collection Center (RCC) in Bondurant for household hazardous waste disposal for Area citizens. Each county is provided at least one mobile collection event one or two years for residents and year-round drop-off opportunities at the Center in Bondurant at no cost.
Small Business Program
Businesses in the four-county area that are small generators of hazardous waste - CESQGs - (less than 220 lbs. per month) may arrange to bring their hazardous wastes at a small cost directly to the RCC in Bondurant. There is a toll-free number for residents and businesses to call for questions about hazardous wastes and whether you may bring them to the RCC. Call 1-888-603-CREW for information.
