The educational opportunities offered through SCISWA are plentiful and can be presented at the Agency's Education Center or in your own classroom or meeting place. 2008 Agency Calendars Available
The 2008 SCISWA Calendar featuring a compost theme is now available! The calendar showcases winning posters created by 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students from the 4-county service area (Marion, Monroe, Lucas and Poweshiek County). The calendar cover was designed by Lindsay Black, 5th grade, Van Allen Elementary, Chariton, Lucas County. Calendars are available free of charge at the Landfill and Transfer Station or by contacting Amber at 641-828-8545 or email at
