Amber Alley Joins SCISWA Staff
The South Central Iowa Solid Waste Agency (SCISWA) welcomes Amber Alley to the staff as Education and Outreach Specialist. Amber is a recent graduate of Iowa State University where she majored in Marketing. The Corydon, Iowa native also has experience as a Marketing Communications Intern with Pella Corporation.
“This is a great opportunity to connect with our community and educate schools, businesses, and other local groups on what we do at the agency. I’m excited to help our citizens learn more about the environment and what it means to go green.”
“Amber has great energy and enthusiasm,” said SCISWA Director Sara Bixby. “I’m looking to her to re-invigorate some points of our outreach effort toward adults and combating illegal dumping that has lagged in recent years.”
